My boyfriend thankfully put it together which was very helpful and took him about 3 hours to do it alone. I have used it a few times and very pleased with it.

Service and delivery comments:

The delivery company forgot to put the package on the truck 2 different times. It was frustrating that I had to take off of work 2 times and it wasn't delivered. I did call the second day and they asked me if I wanted to come pick it up. I said I didn't want it anymore becuase I couldn't keep taking off of work and the product was supposed to be delivered. So they did make a special delivery to my house as they did not want to return the item to the company.

Product is good and sturdy. Not a lot of bells and whistles but good enough for what I need. I've always been athletic but now have a sedentary job and had packed on the pounds and am using this to return to my slimmer self.

Delivered within days. Arrived via Fed Ex in a severely damaged box (ripped, squished, and several holes with some of the bolts required for assembly missing. All major parts in brand new condition. Aside from the missing bolts and a trip to Home Depot to replace them, assembly was fairly easy.

The box arrived banged up and a couple of parts were out of the box outside where the box was left, and I was nervous that it was damaged. Luckily, I knew someone who assembles equipment for a living and everything was present and accounted for despite the condition I found when I arrived home to the loose parts and damaged box.

I ordered this elliptical trainer for my personal use. I did put it together myself without my husband's help, so it took me longer to do, but the instructions were clear and I was able to assemble it without too much trouble. Just make sure to follow each step in order. This is a little more than a basic elliptical. I purchased it because I wanted to have one that had a heart rate control. It does come with a chest pulse decetor so it is more accurate than the grip detectors. It has a nice selection of programs. The fan is not the greatest, but it does help to cool down my face. The water bottle is not located conveniently, but I put my water on a table next to the unit when I exercise. This does not have all the bells and whistles of a top line machine, but it's perfect for me as a beginner. If more than one person is going to use it, you might want to get one that has an adjustable stride length, but since I'm the only one using it, the stride length is right for me. I'm a beginner, so it's going to take quite awhile for me to outgrow this. It is not as large as some of the other units, but it is too big to put in the living room in front of the TV. I've started to listen to books on tape while I exercise and this works well for me. The monitor is easy to read, but it was a little confusing programming it. The accompanying booklet has limited directions, but with some trial and error, I figured it out. It is very quiet and I can use it in the middle of the night without waking anyone up. I am quite pleased with this purchase and would buy it again.
