    I decided to try this "chair" after trying several other desk chair designs - from the norm to the high-end. After using it for several days I can say with confidence that this is the most comfortable option out there. I sit for hours at a time and this "chair" has made such a difference in the way I feel at the end of the day. It's easy to assemble and comes with a booklet of simple, wonderful stretching exercises. I like the fact that the chair and ball are black and that the design is simple and discreet. With that said, it is still an exercise ball, so it may not work in some office areas where a more formal look is required. But, if you have an office or a work environment that allows for this kind of chair, I highly recommend purchasing one.

    The chair itself is very comfortable and is a sturdy design. It's also very easy to put together. There is only one con to this chair and that is the actual balance ball is MUCH small than advertised on the picture. It does not properly fit in the seat and is at least 5" in diameter too small for the device. That being said, still a great buy for it's comfort as long as you buy a separate balance ball.

      Inflation of the ball was easy as well as assembling. I was pleased with the comfort and the immediate need to "sit up staight". Where I don't feel like my core is really working hard, I do notice a constant "shift" in my upper body and my lower back is responding to my posture change well. I actually feel like I am standing and sitting up straighter. With a slight adjustment on the ball inflation, I was able to find a comfortable sitting position as well as adequate height for my desk - which is a little taller than normal work spaces. I am 5'3 with short legs so normal desk chairs don't allow my feet to comfortably rest on the floor. Not only are my feet flat on the floor, straightening my back, while on the balance ball chair, causes me to be up high enough to comfortably type and navigate at my desk.

      Service and delivery comments:

      Excellent web site service and delivery. It showed up exactly when it was scheduled to and that was on a Saturday!

        I use this while working at my desk. The height is perfect for using my computer. The ball is suprisingly comfortable even after a couple of hours sitting (suggest little breaks getting up and walking around).
        I wasn't sure this was going to be worth the money but I am convinced now that it was. One of my better purchases online

        The chair itself is a great product ONCE you get it all assembled. I was actaully missing 3 screws for the bar in the front, it doesn't really matter though. And the hand pump is junk. use a basketball pump or something similar and pump ALOT. it takes alot to inflate. Hayneedle was so accomidating with the missing screws that they credited my account so if i want i can order another one FREE! good customer service!

        we bought this chair to try out for our front desk at our office and now we are buying more for everybody else because they really like it. it's amazing how it instantly helps your posture. I gave 4 stars because it does hurt your rear a bit if you sit for an extended period of time. better if you are up and down alot. that might get better after the ball relaxes a bit.
